PIR Foam has an external appearance similar to Polyurethane Foam but it has a ring structure of Isoyaunurate which can withstand heat and flame more than Polyurethane Foam.
PIR Foam has a good withstanding heat property because the expansion temperature is 400oC while Polyurethane is 230-250oC thus Polyisocyanurate can be used continuously at 150oC.
While burning Polyisocyanurate is more scorched, protecting flaming and the oxygen inside the foam which can prevent fire than Polyurethane.
PIR Foam has density is around 35 to 50 kg/m3 and can be used for Sheet, Pipe cover and Shell.
HD PUR Foam is differently chemical produced Polyurethane to get a higher density for heavy supporting works because it can underlie as well as its light weight.
HD PUR Foam can be used for Sheet, Pipe cover and Foam block for producing archetype.
